Potomac River Bass Fishing Report June 10th 2018:
Today we fished the Potomac River after a night filled with heavy rain. The river was in rough shape and polluted with all sorts of floating debris, some viable and some was not. Extra time and caution was needed to navigate in some parts of our travel out on the main river today. Starting off the tournament we headed out of Smallwood State Park and turned left on the main river heading towards a popular spawning area 15 - 20 minutes to the south. After a short period of time we headed back north and stopped in to fish two more popular spawning areas on the Potomac River. Fishing was off for everyone today but we were on the right kind of fish. Both of today's keepers were caught on a bladed swim jig.
