Potomac River Bass Fishing Tournament Report:
I'm all jacked up heading into June with a heavy dose of Potomac river bass fishing tournaments on the schedule. I received a fairly decent draw ( Boat Number 27 ) for blast off to start off an exciting month of bass fishing on my favorite river.
For the first time in a while we seemed to have stable weather the night before the FLW Bass Fishing League tournament on 06/01/13.
Calm weather reports lead to clearer water and trust me when I tell you, that's a good thing on the Potomac River! As expected, this day was filled with some very receptive largemouth bass.
I wound up with 4 bass on the day that measured over 15 inches. I did leave a big one swimming around out there but managed to catch about 40 off its relatives that did not measure. My total weight for the day was 9lbs 01oz good for 62nd place on the Boaters side.
With so many high dollar bass fishing tournaments scheduled on the Potomac river in June. It simply would not be wise to give up the goods on exactly what I caught them all on this first day of June 2013. However, I will tell you that most of my 40 largemouth bass were caught flipping.
My Co - Angler on the day finished 33rd place. He finished with 4 bass and a total of 7lbs 11oz. All in all, I had a really great time out on the river today. I'm confident that what I have learned today will serve me well heading into the next several Potomac river bass fishing tournaments.
Check back here often for my newest Potomac River bass fishing reports as I continue fishing and blogging my way to the top of the leader boards...
See You On The Water,
