Smitson's Top 25 Anglers List FLW Everstart Series Oct 2013:

Hello, welcome to my Top 25 Anglers List From FLW Everstart Series Oct 19th, 2013. Before we begin let me tell you right up front that I did not place high enough in my rookie season on the Everstart level to make the list. 

So why post a Top 25 list to your own website that your not even on you ask? The answer is simple, to beat your competition you have to know your compitition. I feel like that is a famous quote somewhere in the sports world but right now it escapes me as to who said it. 

Let me also tell you that I long for the day when there are such things like an Associated Press Top 25 FLW Everstart Anglers List, USA Today Top 50 FLW Everstart Anglers List, NBC Sports Network Top 25 FLW Everstart Anglers List, Yahoo Sports Top 100 FLW Everstart Anglers List, Washington Post Top 30 FLW Everstart Anglers List, Baltimore Sun Top 200 FLW Everstart Anglers List, New York Post Top 75 FLW Everstart Anglers List, Forbes Top 60 FLW Everstart Anglers List and Huffington Post Top 150 FLW Everstart Anglers List. 

At the moment those Top Angler list seem light years away from happening so back to my list we go. How I arrived to My Top 25 Anglers List For The FLW Everstart Series is very straight forward. No fancy calculations that you need a super computer to figure out, for the time being. There are 5 divisions in the FLW Everstart Series so lets start by taking the top 5 anglers from each FLW Everstart division and display the results. 

Top 25 FLW Everstart Anglers From FLW Website Standings: October 19, 2013 

Taking a few minutes to view the slide show above tells me a few fun facts:

If your from Texas Or California you better be on top of your game if your fishing the Texas division and Western division of the FLW Everstart Series! 5 anglers from Texas finished in the Top 5 in the Texas Division. Likewise 5 Anglers from California finished in the Top 5 of the Western division. Note to self, pay attention to Texas and California anglers while out on the lake, you might learn something!!!

Alabama anglers are dominate in the Southeast division with 3 Alabama anglers in the top 5. While 2 anglers from the sunshine state of Florida held their own. Missouri anglers have a fairly strong showing in the Central division having produced 2 Missouri anglers in the top 5. Maryland anglers take bragging rights in the Northern division with 2 Maryland anglers in the top 5. 

Average earnings numbers show that the Northern division may be the best to compete in:

Average Winnings In Top 5 of Northern Division = 22,635.40

Average Winnings In Top 5 of Western Division = 13,669.20

Average Winnings In Top 5 of Central Division = 11,431.80 

Average Winnings In Top 5 of Southeast Division = 10,718.00 

Average Winnings In Top 5 of Texas Division = 9,980.00 

The Northern division apparently being the most profitable of all FLW Everstart divisions is definitely a head scratching revelation. I happen to fish in the Northern division already so for me this is extra exciting news moving forward.  

Now to create my own list I needed to come up with some kind of parameters.

Getting graphics together, doing some research and tallying my Top 25 anglers for FLW Everstart Series. Anglers shown above are in no particular order as I'm still ranking them. Check back soon...
