Smitson Swims Buckeye Jig To 53rd Overall In FLW Everstart Northern Series.

Hello Bass Anglers,

The journey through my first full year of fishing the FLW Evestart Northern Series is officially half way in the books. It's definitely been a wild ride so far but I can't complain.

If you told me before the start of the year that I would be sitting in 53rd place overall heading into the Lake Champlain Event. I would have hugged you, kissed you and I might even paid you to tell me exactly how you saw that outcome unfolding.

I'm still torqued over the fact I could not find any big bass on the Potomac river. I had two tough days out their on the Potomac. I Caught 5 fish both days just could not find the big ones but at the end of the day. My goal was to be in the top 40 at the end of the year for the FLW Everstart Northern Series.

After lake Champlain we wrap things up on the Upper Chesapeake Bay. While I don't necessarily like the way I have gotten to 53rd overall. I'll take it and run with it.

Thanks to all my family and sponsors that stand behind me. Special thanks to the guys at Buckeye Lures for staying up all night to get my custom lures done before this FLW Everstart Potomac River event. I caught almost all 10 of my keepers on that customized Buckeye swim jig.
